Richmond's Jarrell Baskfield was selected as one of seven visual artists to participate in Nike's "Cultivator" program to design a trio of Nike sneakers, inspired by personal creative interests. The ODU graduate and freelance designer chose to base the subject of his designs on three grounded topics that society has struggled to address in the appropriately named "The Current Conditions" Collection.
